Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Half English as well as Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. She is the daughter of an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's previous marriage. The family was initially of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria at the age of 6 when Taylor-Joy was born. Taylor Joy claims that her move to England was a very difficult experience. She refused to learn English and believed she would be able to move back to Argentina. She had to switch schools between Northlands and then Hill House. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in the school's productions. Then she dropped out of high school when she was 16 in order in order to concentrate on her acting career. From a young age Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to work as an actress. her dream came true after she was offered an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
