Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton, who was born in Locust Ridge Tenn. on January. 19. 1946, into a humble family of 12 children at one point, realized that she was able to escape suffering through her imaginative mind. Before learning how to read and write Dolly Parton had already begun to compose her own music. Her first guitar was given to her when she turned eighteen. The singer began her singing career at an Knoxville Tenn station by the age of eleven. That that same time, Gold Band Records was an independent label. While she was studying, she already established herself in the local music scene. But her dream was to be able to make music on a greater scale. After graduating from the high school in 1964, she moved straight to Nashville. Dumb Blonde (1967) and Something Fishy (1968) were the first two albums to chart from Monument Records. Porter Wagoner had been looking for a female vocalist for his show that was syndicated from the beginning. Parton became a member of Grand Ole Opry 1969 after having signed with RCA Records. She left Wagoner's show, however, in 1974 because her solo albums such as Joshua Coat Of Many Colors and Jolene exceeded the sales of their joint albums. Parton's hit song, I'll Never Be Loved by You (for Wagoner), hit the No. 1 spot after they broke up. The song of Parton in 1974."I Will Never Love You peaked at No.
